A total of 212 migrants will be brought to Malta this evening, with the  three boats expected to arrive between 9pm and 10.30pm, the Armed Forces of Malta said.

Meanwhile, 84 migrants have been transferred on board the AFM's inshore patrol vessel P24 and are currently on their way to Malta.

One of the migrant vessels was 38 nautical miles and originally the total number of migrants that were on this boat was 89 with five females being previously airlifted by helicopter. The remaining group is made up of 15 females and 69 males.

A second boat, spotted at 33 nautical miles south east of Malta, was carrying 40 migrants. The AFM carried a rescue operation as their dinghy was adrift. The group is made up of 39 males and a female.

The third boat, with 74 males and nine females, was intercepted south west of Malta.

Watch on Youtube 'Minnesota Somali gangs' to see how well Somali 'refugees' are integrating in US society. How long before they do the same in Malta, once they get a proper foothold?

Taking a different tack what would happen if this patrol boat got into difficulties and had to abandon ship?It is obviously overloaded as to its capacity so does it have enough life-saving, emergency safety equipment on board to accommodate all those on board?

Its getting out of hand and who will be responsible for the chaos that would ensue? A bigger problem is not good for the 17,000 immigrants here and for the Maltese: in the meantime the Europeans are happy to see these unwanted and unloved immigrants away from their own political turf! This is the humanity of it all; imma bhal ma jghid il-Malti kelb dghajjef idur ghalih id-dubbien..u l-intelletwali Maltin? Jikkritikaw, josservaw, jikkontemplaw jaraw isibux kelb dghajjef biex iduru ghalih: ghax b'differenza ta intelletwali Maltin ta barra jaraw il-boghod: ta Malta? Sal-ponta ta imnihirhom!

The decisive stance taken by PM should win him kudos. It reminds me of E.F.A. standing up against opposition to the La Salle shiprepair contract in 2001 which was supported by practically all the population. S. Busuttil's stance of criticizing without providing an EFFECTIVE alternative solution is likely grow the PN haemorrhage at the polls.Surely, voluntary burden sharing does not work, as we have already seen. It is easy to take the moral high ground; what about suggesting solutions WHICH WORK?

Can anyone tell me what will be the penalties/fines Malta will face if we send them back (i.e disobeying the court order)?

This is only the tip of the iceberg. We will all be sorry .

Forsi ma ghadekx cans tara ic-CNN u l-kampanja kbira li dawn aghmlu dan l-ahhar dwar din il-mohqrijja ta' traffikar fid-dinja kollha. Kont nippretendi li tghatu ftit ghajnuna lill Prim Ministru fil-mument difficli li jinsab ghaddej minnu. Hrabtu id-dover u zammejtu mal-barrani. Issa nirrakkomandalek li kull meta jidhlu aktar illegali, inzel ix-xatt ilqaghhom, tieghhom kopja tal-Malta Today u hajjarhom ihallsu subscription fil portal tieghek. It would appear that the EU have taken a leaf out of the MIA's book and waived landing fees for migrants to land on our shores.Just try leaving Malta -LEGALLY-without possessing the necessary documentation or when attempting to enter a country without such (including a visa if applicable) as you would be sent back from whence you came in a New York minute even if citing political persecution or whatever.
