Second call for staff nurses in five months

Two public calls issued by the health ministry result in employment of 160 staff nurses.

The government has issued a second call in less than five months for the role of staff nurses within the Health Ministry.

The first call, through which 20 nurses were employed, was for qualified and experienced nurses to contribute in public health institutions.

The second call aims to attract 140 staff nurses who will be graduating in the coming weeks.

"We need to invest in human resources if we want to give the best care possible. This enrollment is another step towards having an efficient services which provides the best for patients," the ministry said.

It said it was committed to continue encouraging more students to a future in health care as their career.
