21-year old grievously injured in traffic accident
The man was found trapped in the vehicle.

A young man was grievously injured last night when he lost control of the vehicle and ended up in a field.
The accident happened around 12.30am in Għajn Tuffieħa Road, Saint Paul’s Bay.
The 21-year-old who resides in Naxxar, was found in the vehicle and given the help needed by members of the Civil Protection. He was still conscious when found.
The vehicle and the wall separating the field from the road were extensively damaged in the accident.

How and why exactly does one "lose control of a vehicle?"this being the ubiquitous and apparently universal always -and only -rationale for such RTI's offered by the authorities? We are subjected to many statistics as to a drivers gender ,location of incidents ,vehicle -type,injury and fatality numbers etc.,but never the root cause and reason(or major contributing factors) which ,as per examples in more forward -thinking and information-transparent countries ,are supplied and which in the vast majority indicate drivers involved in such incdients are DUI,EXCESSIVELY SPEEDING,DRIVING WITH RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT OR WITHOUT DUE CARE AND ATTENTION ,USING A MOBILE DEVICE etc., all of which contribute significantly to "losing control of a vehicle ".Why do we supply no such information which would possibly serve as a deterrent or at least as an awareness exercise?
