EU citizens take their protests to the roads

Frustrated EU nationals take their campaign on Arriva buses with the roll out of new adverts.

Members of the 'Up in ARMS' class action group rolled out adverts on the back of Arriva buses this week in Malta and Gozo.

The group, made up of EU nationals residing in Malta, continue to face discrimination over significantly higher utility bills and bus fares than those charged to Maltese nationals.

Their latest campaign will run for a month covering Gozo, the Malta International Airport, St Julian's and Sliema routes.

Ironically, this awareness-raising campaign is using the same medium which is discriminatory against EU nationals: buses.

I have already said that all hell will break loose if there will be a change in Government. How come these UP IN ARMS didn't do this under the then "Flimkien kollox possibli", under the Leadership of the most Democratic PM Dr Lawrence Gonzi. They have the same rights like me being Maltese. When I was in their respective countries I wasn't charge more than the local citizens. Austin Gatt this is part of your WILL. I am sure Joseph Muscat will handle this to everyone's satisfaction.
