Brazilians arraigned over damaging property

Two Brazilian nationals, Bertino Algebaile Leite 26 and Ricardo Guimaraes Cunha 21, both residing in Swieqi pleaded guilty to charges of willful damage.

Inspector Darryl Borg arraigned the two youths and accused them of causing willful damage to a service station in Swieqi. The incident happened yesterday morning at around 4:20am. The damages amount to €1,950.

Magistrate Audrey Demicoli noted the Brazilian's guilty plea and handed them a two-year conditional discharge. The accused were also ordered to pay for the damages.
