First seven Labour MEP candidates announced

Former ONE journalist Miriam Dalli is one of the first seven candidates contesting the MEP elections on a Labour ticket.
The Labour Party's executive has approved the first batch of candidates for the euro parliament elections taking place in May next year.
The first group of seven are all newcomers, including former Labour prime minister Alfred Sant.
The other six are former ONE journalist Miriam Dalli, LGBT consultative council chairman Cyrus Engerer, Qala mayor Clint Camilleri, architect Lino Bianco, lecturer Ivan Grixti and former CPD head Joseph Cordina.
The second batch of candidates will be announced in the coming weeks.

@Sagitarius I didn't say they will for for PN. Remember the power of eligible voters is to vote, not to vote or vote beyond the vision of blue and red. But that is something which the future reserves to the electorate. We will see!

@bullbythehorns. So let me guess. The floating voter will conveniently forget the PN's past blunders and vote them because of what you term as 'alleged affinity to hunters and illegal squatters'. Quite far-fetched. The floating voter will judge Labour's stern efforts to steer Malta's economy and finances in the right direction.

How the worm turns as most of these MEP applicants were fervently against EU membership, that is until they realised the obscene financial rewards they will reap when they hitch their wagon to that relentless gravy tarin!
