Car overturns in Siġġiewi

A Hyundai Accent overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle, early this morning. The incident occurred at 5.30am, in Triq Ħal Farruġ, Siġġiewi.

The car was driven by a 22 year old from Bormla, who suffered no injuries, but his passenger – a 17 year old from Luqa – had to be admitted to Mater Dei Hospital, suffering from grievous injuries. Nonetheless, his conditions were not life threatening.

Police said that according to preliminary investigations, the car initially hit a wall and consequently it overturned.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
