Roof collapses in Valletta

No one was injured when a roof of a Valletta residence collapsed late last night.

A residence in Triq l-Isptar, Valletta, which is currently undergoing restoration, was vacated at the time of the incident. Police officers and members of the Civil Protection arrived on site.

The collapse of the roof gave rise to fears that adjacent buildings could be effected, however further investigations ruled out any potential cause for concern.
