Elderly man critical after fall in Balzan
A 70 year-old man from Balzan was critically injured when he accidentally tripped in some steps as he entered the Balzan band club.

The elderly man was entering the club where a reception was to be held as Balzan this week celebrates the feast of Our Lady of the Annunciation.
According to witnesses, the man hit his head against another step and lost consciousness and was losing plenty of blood.
He was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified to be in a critical condition.
A duty magistrate ordered an inquiry.
