Antoine Borg sworn in as Opposition MP
Former PN financial controller Antoine Borg becomes the latest addition to the House of Representativies.
Nationalist candidate Antoine Borg was sworn in as an Opposition MP, filling the seat vacated by former prime minister Lawrence Gonzi.
Borg, the PN's former financial controller was elected to parliament after gaining 2,253 votes in the casual election held in July.
Meanwhile, Parliament reconvened this evening with both Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and Oppostion leader Simon Busuttil attending this first session following the summer recess.
