Around €100,000 stolen in daylight robbery

The sum of around €100,000 were allegedly stolen from inside an apartment yesterday, the police said.
According to preliminary investigations, an apartment in Triq Dawret it-Tunnara, Mellieħa was robbed in daylight when no one was inside.
When the occupants, a man, 49, and his wife, 27, returned home, they found the door ajar and the flat in disarray.
Further investigations are underway while several court experts have been appointed to assist with a magisterial inquiry.
