Man recaptured after escaping custody

Jesmond Cassar known as it-Titu, escaped custody from Mater Dei Hospital yesterday, only to be arrested by the Rapid Intervention Unit earlier today in Marsa. 

Cassar, 39, who resides in Bormla, was currently discharged in order to follow a rehabilitation programme.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital after he claimed he was suffering from serious pain.
