ETC does not retain information on gender pay gap

The Employment and Training Corporation does not collect information on gender pay gap, Education Minister Evarist Bartolo revealed.

The minister was replying to questions raised in parliament by Labour MP Deo Debattista.

The PQ also revealed that until May 2013, the total number of working women totaled €73,759 in full-time and part-time employment.

Women working full-time amounted to 54,822 while those working part-time reached 18,937.

9,402 of full-time working women were aged over 50.
