54 resignations in health since March 2013

Since March 2013, 54 persons submitted their resignation to the Health Ministry. However, no information was retained detailing the reason behind the resignations.

According to information submitted in parliament by Health Minister Godfrey Farrugia, the resignations submitted were: basic specialist trainee, casual substitute clerk, dental surgery assistant, director nursing and midwifery services, economics officer, general practitioner, house dental surgeon, house officer, medical administrator,, medical director, medical laboratory scientists, occupational therapist, officer in scale 8 and officer in scale 12, pharmacist, pharmacy technician, principal speech therapist, radiographer, resident specialist, senior physiotherapist and staff nurse.
