Church schools to have 1,733 vacant positions next year
Applications to be distributed from November to February of next year
There will be a total of 1,733 vacant positions in Church schools, with the applications to be distributed in various Church schools between this month and February of next year, a statement issued by the Church said.
The rules and regulations on how to apply can be found at http://www.maltadiocese.org/posts/category/church-schools
A list of the necessary documents, as well as details on the location and days on which one can apply can be found on the same website.
The process usually determines the entrance for students to first and second year at kindergarten stage, entrance for first year at primary stage, and the first year for secondary school.
This year, however, there will also be an opportunity for entrance to students hoping to enter the third year in primary school, as well as for the sixth year.
From a total of 1,733 vacant places, there will be some places given to children categorised as 'exceptional cases' - whose applications will be distributed between the months of November and January. More information on what exactly entitles an 'exceptional case' can be found on the website.
The statement said that disciplinary measures - also to be found on the website - will be taken towards those applicants who fail to follow the appropriate guidelines.
It said that this could even result in the ineligibility of applications for the students in question.
