Repair works on Marsa Footbridge commence

Transport Malta notifies that repair works on the Marsa  pedestrian footbridge have commenced.  The works, which are being carried out between 3pm and 11pm  in order to minimise the impact on vehicular traffic due to the closure of two lanes of the north-bound carriageway, are expected to be completed by Friday.

The repair works are being carried out following an incident in which an excavator being transported on a trailer hit the pedestrian foot bridge spanning Aldo Moro Road, Marsa in April of this year.
