Three injured in car wreck
Two drivers and a passenger suffer grievous injuries in a Coast Road car crash late last night.

The drivers of two vehicles were late last night rushed to hospital suffering injuries after a head on collision on the Coast Road.
At about 9.30 pm, rescue workers were called to the wreckage of a car crash to free one of the injured. The police had been informed of a serious car accident between a Peugeot driven by a 48-year-old man from Swieqi and a Renault Megane driven by a man, 46 from Mosta.
An 18-year old female riding in the Megane was also injured and taken to hospital.
Medical checks revealed the two drivers and the passenger had suffered grievous injuries.

How many people have to die or get into serious accidents before Transport Malta realizes that they have to build a median to separate the traffic on the Coast Road? This is an ongoing problem on this road and something has to be done. This road is very inviting for speeders or for immature drivers to pass other vehicles at the wrong time without considering the consequences. Transport Malta please do something right for a change and install a median to separate oncoming traffic. In the meantime to all drivers please don't drink and drive, never use your mobile while driving and especially, do not text while driving. Happy New Year and Drive Safe.
