Driver in critical condition after Burmarrad crash
A Spanish national living in Malta crashed into a wall and electricity pole around 2am this morning.

A 28-year-old Spaniard suffered life-threatening injuries when his vehicle crashed into an electricity pole in Burmarrad Street, St Paul’s Bay.
The incident happened around 2am.
The car was being driven from Mosta in the direction of St Paul’s Bay, and reportedly it overturned with the impact.
Workers from Enemalta were on the scene to remove any possible danger caused by the crash.
An inquiry is underway.

After all these " vehicle crashed into an electricity pole" reports, one would think that Enemalta would train their poles NOT to jump into the street and catch careful drivers unawares!
