Council employee beaten up
St. Paul's Bay mayor Mario Salerno said it was not the first time that councillors and employees were threatened.
An employee of St Paul’s Bay local council was allegedly beaten up by a thug, after the latter dumped household waste after collection hours.
The thug resorted to violence after the employee told the aggressor not to dump waste.
The incident took place in Bugibba.
While deploring all type of aggression, the locality’s mayor Mario Salerno said this was not the first time that employees and councillors felt threatened about similar cases.
In a statement, Salerno condemned this incident and said the police were alerted about the case.

People who beat people up are bullies and should stay a few days in prison to cool off then do community work for a while, like sweeping a few streets. People who are beaten can suffer psychological harm and can be seriously injured by mistake. Sorry I did not want to cause any brain damage or rupture your spleen ! by then it is too late.
