Malta evacuates all diplomatic staff from Tripoli
Malta has evacuated all it's diplomatic staff from Tripoli, however the Maltese embassy will remain operation through locally employed staff.

An Italian military C-130 aircraft left this morning from Tripoli's Mitica airport with the last remaining 7 Maltese nationals, that included Consul General Nader Salem Rizzo.
The Maltese were flown to Pratica di Mare air base in Italy and will returning to Malta by tomorrow morning.
The evacuation was coordinated between the governments of Malta and Italy following talks held between Ministers Tonio Borg and Franco Frattini who met throughout yesterday and this morning in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
