Cable fault causes suspension of electricity supply in Birkirkara

Enemalta Corporation said due to a cable fault which affected four of its substations, parts of Birkirkara are currently without electricity supply.

Enemalta said its technicians have located the fault, but due to the extent of the damage caused and the works that need to be carried out, power is estimated to be restored later on in the day.

Enemalta said it apologises for the inconvenience caused by the power interruption.
