Maltese woman arrested after drug search

The discovery was made following investigations by the Police, who suspected drug trafficking might have been going on in the apartment.

In fact, according to officers, several packets of cocaine ready to be sold were found inside the hollow legs of a chair.

Marijuana leaves were also found in the same apartment.

A 30-year-old woman who lives in the apartment has been arrested and is expected to be arraigned in court for drug trafficking.

A Police investigation is ongoing.
