Three arrested in police drug raid

A Police statement explained that a 27 year-old man from Sta Lucia was arrested as he was caught red-handed while trafficking in heroine and cannabis resin from a garage in Sta. Lucia.

Further investigations that included more searches, led to the arrest of another two men, a 53 year-old and a 38 year-old, both from Hamrun.

All three are expected to be charged with possession and trafficking in heroine and cannabis resin, while a Magisterial inquiry is also underway.
