Cabinet approves appointment of two new Judges, three Magistrates
abinet has approved the appointment of Magistrates Silvio Meli and Tonio Ellul as Judges, and lawyers, Neville Camilleri, Josette Demicoli and Francesco Depasquale as new Magistrates.
In a statement, the Ministry for Justice and Home Affairs announced that Cabinet had approved the appointment of Silvio Meli as Judge.sI
Silvio Meli, who has served as a Magistrate since 1990 is a visiting lecturer and examiner within the Faculty of Laws at the University of Malta and a member on the Commission for the Administration of Justice.
Tonio Ellul was appointed Magistrate in 2007 and served at the Gozo Courts.
Meanwhile lawyers Neville Camilleri, Josette Demicoli, and Francesco Depasquale have been appointed as Magistrates.
