Man charged with thefts, injuring women

Noel Farrugia, 32 from Gzira was remanded in custody this morning, after facing charges on a series of robberies.

Farrugia, pleaded not guilty to the thefts, that included snatch and grabs in Qormi where he injured two elderly women.

Inspector Sandra Zammit charged Farrugia with damaging a car, breaching the peace, relapsing and breaching bail conditions.
