Charged with stabbing driver in road rage incident

A Magistrate has remanded a man into custody this morning, after he was charged with attempted murder and road rage.

Frank Falzon, 33 of Zebbug was arrested last Sunday evening after allegedly stabbing another man during an argument in Main Street, Zebbug, when the two refused to give way as they drove towards each other.

The court heard how, after Philip Micallef left his car and walked to Falzon's car, Philip Micallef snatched the ignition keys from the dash-board. The court also heard how Falzon then emerged from his own car to  get his keys back, and stabbed Philip Micallef.

As Falzon pleaded not guilty to the charges, the Court ordered that he be remanded in custody.
