Gozo police make arrests on defilement, cocaine trafficking

Two men have been arrested in Gozo in connection with separate cases of defilement and drug trafficking.

In the first case, a 40 year old man from Gharb was arrested for allegedly defiling a 16 year-old girl also from the same village, while in the second case, John Sultana from Xaghra was arrested after being caught red-handed while trafficking cocaine.

Both men are to be arraigned in the coming hours.

Police Inspector Josric Mifsud is leading the investigations.
