Police sources said that Galea - one of four suspects - was arrested hours after the heist in which more than 20,000 euros in cash were stolen from Fexco Exchange Bureau in St. Julians.

The accused who pleaded 'not guilty' was charged with the attempted murder of Josef Aquilina, keeping him hostage, possession and shooting a gun, stealing a car and being a relapser.

Galea appeared before a Magistrate under heavy police escort.

After smashing the window, the accused, together with another three unidenified accomplices, ntered the bureau and pointed the gun to the attendant and demanded money he had in his cash register.

A get away car was found abandond in San Gwann.

Maybe the thieves get distracted and post a sign confession to the police by mistake (filled out in triple form). Maybe i am wrong, but it seems the criminal element in this country is getting more organized, more aggressive and more ballsy. Well at least someone is truly on track for Vision 2015. What's next ? Cars with side boards, hats and tommy guns?
