Updated | Labour leader votes in party’s national executive elections
13 candidates submit nomination to fill 12 posts as ordinary members of the PL’s national executive.

Prime Minister and Labour leader Joseph Muscat this morning voted in the PL's national executive election, electing 12 ordinary members to sit on the executive.
Muscat was accompanied by deputy leaders Louis Grech and Toni Abela.
Thirteen candidates contested the election.
The candidates are Frans Agius, Mario Azzopardi, Krista Caruana, Monica Farrugia, Nettu Farrugia, Mario Farrugia Borg, Catherine Fenech, Sean Meli, Carlo Mifsud, Rocco Emmanuel, Ethelbert Schembri and Jurgen Zammit.
As the counting of votes concluded, it was confirmed that Schembri did not make it.
Party delegates voted at the Labour club in Rabat, Gozo, and at the party's headquarters in Hamrun.
The counting of votes started shortly after 3pm.
