Buses delayed by chemical spill in Marsa

Several buses scheduled to leave Valletta later on today will be delayed due to the closure of Marsa's Aldo Moro Road, following a chemical spill from a nearby traffic, Malta Public Transport warned.

Traffic to Valletta from the south of the island has been diverted through Qormi, leaving many buses stuck behind heavy traffic and unable to reach their destination on time. Buses scheduled to leave Valletta will therefore experience considerable delays.

Malta Public Transport said it regrets the inconvenience to commuters, even though the incident was beyond its control.
