Software firm to create 100 new jobs in Gozo
Software company RS2 Software to invest €1,000,000 in a new Gozo branch and create 100 jobs.
Over the next six years, a software company is set to create 100 new jobs in Gozo, Gozo minister Anton Refalo said.
Welcoming the €1 million investment RS2 Software Plc in Gozo, the minister said the firm is expected to create 50 in three years and a further 50 by 2020.
RS2 is involved in the management of electronic cash cards and related services worldwide and already employs 120 workers in Malta.
The company has confirmed the investment which it said is subject to an agreement between the involved parties.
Refalo also announced a series of new initiatives, including 'Greener and Cleaner Gozo' - which will be managed by the Gozo ministry together with the Education ministry and the Employment and Training Corporation (ETC).
