“I knew Guido since childhood as we attended school together at St. Aloysius College. He was my closest collaborator throughout my time as PN leader. Always by my side, we fought together and believed in the same causes.

“He could be best described as my counsel for so many years, we discussed so many things together throughout the years we worked in the party and in government. We agreed and disagreed, but Guido was always a servant of the State, he always did what he was told, he was always prepared, not only throughout his political life, but even when he served as a lawyer.

“He would always give his best, and he did give his very best for Malta. He was an inspiration to me and all in the party, he will be definitely missed. Malta has lost a true servant.”
