Cospicua man dies electrocuted
A 56-year-old Cospicua man has died late this afternoon after he was electrocuted as he was doing some construction works in a residence in the same locality.
Initial police investigations on site showed that the victim was doing some construction works in his relatives’ house at Peter Paul Road, when he suffered an electrical shock at around 4.30 pm.
As a result of this, the victim died on the spot, the police said.
On duty Magistrate Gabriella Vella has appointed a magisterial inquiry according to law. She appointed various court experts to assist her in the magisterial inquiry about this case.
The police said they were still conducting its investigations on this case.
