Mario Mangion appointed new Marsaxlokk Parish Priest

Mario Mangion has been appointed as the new Parish Priest for the Our Lady of Pompei at Maraxlokk by Archbishop Paul Cremona. His appointment was only announced in a press statement issued late this morning by the Archbishop’s Curia.

Mangion was born in Siggiewi on 18 May 1981. He received his primary education at the Saint Augustine College and then at the Faculty of Theology at the University of Malta.

Mangion was ordained as priest on 1 July 2007.

Prior to his appointment as parish priest, he served as Deputy Parish Priest at the Zejtun Parish for the past two years.
