Man stabbed after argument

A resident of a migrants' detention centre was admitted at Mater Dei Hospital after he was involved in an argument at the Ħal Far detention centre earlier this morning.

Police confirmed the man suffered several injuries allegedly caused by a pointed object. The incident occurred around 5:30am.

Police did not give any details about the aggressor.

His condition is not yet known although police added that he was not critical.
