Traffic accident on St Pauls’ Bay bypass

An Italian woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital this morning suffering from grievous injuries after losing control of the car she was driving and hitting a boundary wall.

The accident happened at around 10:45am when the woman was driving towards Xemxija Bay. As she came to a bend she lost control of the Daewoo vehicle she was driving and hit a boundary wall.

First on site were RIU Police and District Police while an ambulance was called as the woman was visibly shocked and injured.

Police spoke person confirmed with maltatoday that the Italian woman is suffering from grievous injuries but no further information was yet available.
