PN spokesman hands in resignation
David Herrera, spokesperson of the Nationalist Party, has resigned
The spokesperson of the Nationalist Party David Herrera has tendered his resignation.
Herrera, who used to work at the Office of the Prime Minister during the Gonzi administration, will not leave immediately but will stay on for a month for a handover.
It transpires that Herrera made up his mind a while ago, before the European Parliament elections took place.
The 28-year-old was appointed PN director of information soon after the 2013 general elections, replacing Frank Psaila who had served in the post for five years.
Herrera, who graduated in geography and obtained a masters in diplomatic studies, also served as president of University’s students council.
