VIDEO | Italian's striptease stunt on Regional Road

Initial reports have confirmed that a "young, Italian national" was seen on the Regional Road, somewhere outside the Qormi tunnels, parading half-naked on the motorway at around 8:30am.

The eyewitness videos, taken from a mobile phone camera, show the woman removing her shoes and then proceed to undress, revealing her bikini.

Police sources said the woman was in "a drunken stupor" and arrested.

But the police CMRU are claiming the woman is "being given the assistance required" and reported no arrest was made.
