An electrical fault at the Malta International Airport caused a power cut leaving passenger who had just landed on the island waiting outside the airport’s arrival gates.
A spokesperson for the airport confirmed there were “problems with the electricity” but the situation is now back to normal.
Five flights had just landed when the power went out, leaving the automatic sliding doors closed.
No flights were delayed.
