Sandro Chetcuti gave PBO donations before he was turned into ‘Labour villain’
Former GRTU official, accused of attempted murder of Vince Farrugia, was a regular PN donor before spin turned him into Labour associate.
MaltaToday on Sunday reports on how PN secretary-general Paul Borg Olivier solicited money from developer Sandro Chetcuti, 38, before he was accused of the attempted murder of GRTU director Vince Farrugia.
Chetcuti was charged with assaulting Farrugia at the GRTU offices in March 2010 and accused of attempted murder.
In the process, he was turned into a ‘Labour associate’ by Nationalist party organs. In the ensuing media coverage, Chetcuti was portrayed as a member of the Labour business bureau and close to Opposition leader Joseph Muscat.

A plot is what PBO/GonziPN lost a long time ago.

Did i miss this very important information - was it in an article somewhere. I think before we go further - we need to know:
WHY DID Chetcuti assault Farrugia?

What a fruitcake this PBO is. As to Chetcuti, he may well have been giving money to both parties but apparently he was also sharing GRTU-related info with Muscat. Whether that make him a MLP associate or just an old fashioned 'faccol' I have no idea. Either way, that is how politics is done the world over. I don't especially like it but that's the world we live in.

...not going to remain much of an asset though :) The faster he is removed the better

... is probably the worst Gen Sec ever (both parties included). His only asset is his name sake.

I have the same perception as KRZ001.
I do not agree with Piranha. No amount of provocation should justify violence.

I believe that many contractors do in fact, donate to both parties. It's called insurance - as in scratching both parties' backs so whichever one is elected, they will still be seen as a 'friend' and 'minn ta gewwa' !

Come on, Give Sandro a break, Vince Farrugia is by far no angel and definitely NOT in favour of the Maltese business community.
Whatever happened in the building on the said day, Mr. Farrugia must really have ticked Mr. Chetcuti off!!!!

But, how on earth do the maltese still have faith in the PN, after all these lies, after all this corruption, after all these ommissions etc.
Wake up nation.
