Judge Gino Camilleri passes away

Judge Gino Camilleri passed away today, at the age of 64.

Born in Valletta, Camilleri graduated as Doctor of Laws in 1973.

A decade later, in 1983, Camilleri was appointed as a Magistrate and in 1995 he was appointed Judge of the Superior Courts.

In 2003, he became a member of the European Forum of Judges for the Environment.

The government and the Nationalist Party expressed their condolences.
