Fire breaks out in Qormi residence

A 47-year-old man was rushed to hospital last night after a fire broke out at his home in Triq il-Blata, Qormi, the police said.

The man’s condition is said to be stable. Two other persons were also in the house at the time of the fire; a 60-year-old man and an 87-year-old woman.

The police said they were informed of the fire at around 11.30pm.

An inquiry is being held.
