Mathew Gatt, 28, appointed head of the Nationalist Party leader’s office
Matthew Gatt, an economic analyst, has been appointed as the head of Simon Busuttil’s office. The Nationalist Party said Gatt is occupying a new role created to support the leader’s renewal of the political party and its structures.
Gatt, 28, attended St. Aloysius College Sixth Form and graduated in Economics in 2007 from the University of Malta.
He went on to study at the University of Warwick where he received a Masters Degree in International Political Economy.
He served for four years in Brussels as an accredited parliamentary assistant to Busuttil and on returning to Malta he joined the Economic Policy Department as an economics analyst.
