Environment Minister launches student blog on waste management

Environment Minister Leo Brincat launched an online blog where students at St Patrick’s School will be able to discuss waste management.

The blog will be available on the Ministry of Sustainable Development and the Environment’s website.

“This initiative will help raise awareness amongst students about the challenges that Malta faces with regards waste management,” Brincat said. “Through this blog, students will also be able to put forward their suggestions about how to improve our waste management schemes.”

Brincat said that he will evaluate the performance of this pilot project in the coming months and might decide to introduce it for other schools.
