Speciality Clinic launched at St Vincent de Paul

St Vincent de Paul residents can now benefit from new services offered at the Speciality Clinic launched today by parliamentary secretary for the elderly Justyne Caruana.

The clinic offers a number of services, including dermatological treatment, dentistry and ophthalmological services.  Moreover a bleeding area and an ECG room were set up.

The clinics are equipped with modern equipment and all services are dementia friendly.

Caruana said the clinics were crated following the growing need for such specialised treatment and to ensure that residents receive treatment within the residency.

In addition, these service will alleviate pressure on Mater dei hospital’s out patients services, Caruana said.

 She added that the residency’s administration was looking into expending the services provided.
