Malta Public Transport denies that it has breached collective agreement and urges GWU to seek solution

Malta Public Transport today denied that it has breached or in any way acted against the collective agreement between the GWU and Malta Public Transport that has been effective from 2012 and is valid up to 2015.

Malta Public Transport appealed to the GWU to discuss the situation together, as they have always done during this year, with the aim of finding a solution to this issue.

Earlier this week, the General Workers’ Union condemned members of the Malta Public Transport’s middle management who are not allowing drivers to take a break during their shifts and warned that it would impose industrial actions if the situation remains unchanged.
