Gozitan students welcome €227,000 promotional campaign for Gozo
‘Way forward for Gozo is to promote the island as full of potential and possibilities’ – Gozo University Group
The Gozo University Group welcomed a €227,000 promotional campaign for Gozo launched by the government. The project seeks to promote the sister island as “a distinct destination”, which according to the students, would increase the potential of job opportunities and stability.
“The island of Gozo is looking to be advertised internationally, increasing its visibility as a tourist attraction highlighting its undeniable charm. This is in many ways than one a big since Gozo won’t be advertised as an ancillary island but rather as a destination of its own. This will definitely increase exponentially the number of tourists coming to Gozo,” the GUG said.
The GUG said it always believed that the way forward for Gozo would be to promote the island as more than just the quiet island it is, but rather as an island full of potential and possibilities.
