Gozitan ten-year-old in danger of dying after falling down stairs at Munxar house

Initial police investigations on site have shown that the young boy was on the roof of his house at Tarsu Street in the same locality. The ten-year-old then started walking down the stairs to reach the ground floor a storey below, but an unspecified reason, he fell down.

An ambulance took the young boy to the Gozo General Hospital, where he was certified with grievous injuries and in danger of losing his life.

On duty magistrate Anthony Ellul has appointed a magisterial inquiry about the fall as prescribed by law. He appointed various court experts to assist him in the investigations about this fall.

Police were also investigating this case.
