Community home for personals with disability in Haz-Zabbar
New community home in Haz-Zabbar to take in around seven persons with disability
The government has identified a resident in Haz-Zabbar which will be refurbished and converted to serve as a community home for persons with disability.
In a statement, the parliamentary secretariat for elderly and persons with disability said the home could take in around seven persons.
Works have already started at the Haz-Zabbar while structural works at a second home in Siggiewi are at their final stages. The Siggiewi home will be able to cater for four individuals in a few weeks.
“Disability has always been a priority for this government and we are now implementing one of our electoral pledges,” the parliamentary secretariat said.
