12 persons of trust in Civil Liberties Ministry
12 people employed on positions of trust within Home Affairs Ministry between March 2013 and January 2015.
12 people have been employed in positions of trust within the Ministry for Civil Liberties, Social Dialogue and Consumer Affairs Ministry since March 2013, Civil Liberties Minister Helena Dalli confirmed.
In response to a parliamentary question by shadow finance minister Mario de Marco, Dalli said that the contracts of all these 12 people are still in force.
The persons of trust are:
-a driver, a communications officer and a technical consultant within the Building Industry Consultative Council
- a driver and chairperson within the Medicines Authority;
-a head, a personal assistant, and a driver within the Malta EU Steering and Action Committee;
-a driver within the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality;
-a senior manager, a personal assistant and a driver within the Occupational Health and Safety Authority.
In response to another parliamentary question by de Marco, Home Affairs Minister Carmelo Abela revealed that his ministry has employed ten people on positions of trust between 9 March 2013 and 31 January 2015.
The people of trust are: a ministry liason officer, a driver within the visa unit, a head of operations at the detention services, a dog handler and a senior manager at the Civil Protections Department, and a training manager, an operational security guard, a part-time assistant psychologist and an executive head at the prison
